CalopteryxmaculataHabitat

The picture below isrepresentative of small streams in which C. maculata is frequently
found. Larvae typically are found near and underneath streambankswith woody debris,
or aquatic vegetation. Larvae of C. aquabilis are more often found in larger streamswith
more open vegetation.
